These are tough times and an a personal level I hope this message finds you all well. As business owners we’re all expecting certain challenges but nothing could have prepared business across Ireland (and the world) for the ongoing Coronavirus crisis. This is a really testing time for all of us and indeed some businesses may not survive through this, and the ones that do survive will most likely take a hit over the coming months.
In these uncertain times your website can be a very useful tool for your business and believe it or not, this crisis could be an opportunity for some business. One of my clients is in the horticulture business and their business has gone through the roof as people are home now and have more time to work in the garden.
It’s likely that non essential businesses with physical premises will need to keep doors shut for the foreseeable future. There may be, in some cases, opportunities for these businesses to change their business models over the coming weeks to utilize the web more and set up online shops and deliver to their customers.
