Swifsash.com Website Goes Live

SwifSash is a Co. Wexford based company that has invented a revolutionary invisible balance system for timber sash windows. With SwifSash you can make traditional sliding sash windows in timber without the need for unsightly springs, cords or chains. The company is called SwifSash and the product is also called SwifSash.

Not only do SwifSash sell this balance system – they also sell a huge catalogue of window and door hardware. They supply this hardware to the trade (e.g joiners).

They needed a modern, fast loading, attractive and functional website to sell their products. Their existing website was dated and didn’t have e-commerce or online catalogue capabilities.

We created a brand new website that presents their products professionally. Products are clearly categorised, under their hardware category and finish making it easy for customers to find the exact product and finish they require. Specifications and measurements are included for products also.

Because of the nature of the business (trade) and bulk discounts, pricing is not displayed on the shop catalogue. Rather it is agreed between both parties and then the team at Swifsash generate an invoice for the customer who pays it on the website using PayPal or Stripe.

Sell My Website Platform Goes Live

Setting up a successful online business is hard work. There are a lot of pitfalls and steep learning curves involved. Imagine then that you have managed to set up a successful online business but then you reach the age of retirement and your family don’t want to take it over – what do you do.

This was the predicament of a Wicklow couple who discovered that there was no platform available for them to sell their online store. They saw a gap in the market and the concept of Sell My Website was born.

Sell My Website is an online platform that takes the form of a classified ads system. People wishing to sell their website or online business can logon, create an add, upload screenshots, describe the business and the technical aspects of their website (CMS platform, e-commerce platform etc.). Visitors interested in buying an online business can then browse through the catalogue of websites for sale and interact with the seller through online chat or email.

Those in the market for an online business can create an ad too of course. So if you’re looking for a website to do specific tasks – sellers can browse those ads too and make contact. As with any classified ads system, the posters of the ad can upgrade their ad (set as featured, bump up, always on top etc.) to promote it’s standing on the platform.

It’s an exciting new business to business platform based in Ireland with huge potential

New Coollattin Golf Club Website Goes Live

Coollattin Golf Club is based in Shillelagh Co. Wicklow, is an 18 hole layout set in beautiful and historic Coollattin Park. The club has had different websites over the last 25 years and the committee felt that their previous offering wasn’t reflective of what the club was trying to be in 2023. It didn’t sell the club of the course well, it didn’t have a clear navigational system,  it lacked a ‘wow factor’. It didn’t have a clear message – the clubs priorities weren’t made clear on the old site. In short – the previous site was underselling the club considerably.

One of the things that we concentrated on with the project was to make the new site as image / video rich as we could. Coollattin is a beautiful place and we needed to make that front and centre. With this in mind we incorporated a video background on the homepage showing off the natural beauty of the setting. Drone footage sweeps in and out of the tall trees, unique features, beautiful parkland and draws the eye of the visitor in immediately. The homepage is light on words – but heavy on imagery. It acts as a portal to the rest of the site where the visitor can easily see and browse the sections that are of interest to them.

One of the club’s top priorities was attracting new members – ladies & men, old & young. With this in mind we designed a navigation system what would have a ‘Become A Member’ button prominent on each page of the site. We also sprinkled attractive call to action sections linking to the membership page throughout the site to funnel interested visitors to that section. The membership process was paper based – we introduced new online application forms which are more efficient for the applicant, more efficient for the club and environmentally friendlier.

Another thing that the club felt was lacking was a course guide section. This is one of the most sought after resources on any golf club website for people that have never been there but are thinking of joining or visiting. Again we chose to use drone footage here to highlight the beauty and quality of the golf course. Each of the 18 hoes are covered in an attractive way that is easy to follow and navigate.

The club is very active on social media – indeed club news and results are shared through Facebook. We were able to pull in the club’s Facebook feed directly onto their site giving a dynamic feel to their homepage. As posts are created on Facebook – they appear on the website with absolutely no effort from anybody in the club. Likewise their Instagram feed is pulled automatically on the bottom of each page and this is a great way to keep content fresh and grow the social media audience.

Coollattin Golf Club is seen as a very friendly and welcoming place – and the course is seen as a real hidden gem in Ireland. The club is lucky to have over 200 (and growing) Google Reviews – the vast majority of which are very positive. We were able to pull these reviews into the new website homepage and display them in an attractive way – making it clear to visitors that Coollattin comes very highly recommended.

Overall the new website is easier to use, easier on the eye and in our view, stands out from the crowd.

DDF.ie Website Goes Live

Darren Devereux Flooring is based in Gorey Co. Wexford. They offer flooring products (hardwood, laminate, carpet, rug etc.) and fitting services.

They had a website for the last number of years but it wasn’t working for them. They required a modern website layout to showcase their products and services. They also needed the ability to invoice their customers online.

Even though their previous website wasn’t working for them, they were very active on social media – namely Facebook & Instagram. These platforms worked very well for their type of business as they were quickly able to showcase jobs as they were finished and this would generate plenty of reactions and interactions. We were able to bring their social media feeds from Facebook and Instagram directly onto their website.  These feeds will update automatically on the site – so there is no maintenance on the feature. It’s a terrific way to show off their latest work on the website with minimal effort. It keeps the website content current.

DDF also have excellent Google reviews  and similar to their social feeds – we were able to pull these reviews into their homepage directly giving their visitors a very good sense of their happy customers.
