Last week we launched a new website for Riverfield B&B based in Inch just outside Gorey Co. Wexford. Riverfield is a beautiful Bed & Breakfast in the shadows of Tara Hill with easy access to the market town of Gorey.
They needed an online booking system that would compliment and co-exist with their existing Booking.com platform. They have 8 rooms in Riverfield and summers are very busy – so it was essential that the system prevented double bookings and any booking complications. The website will also serve as an online shop where people can buy home cooking items and gift vouchers. This piece hasn’t been launched yet but the capability is there and it will be launched in the new year when the owners are ready.
Some of the features include
- Online bookings for 8 rooms (4 different room types)
- System caters for different pricing at the weekends and peak times
- System prevents double bookings
- Guest receives reminder email 24 hours before stay
- Guest can manage their booking (e.g. cancel, reschedule etc.)
- Admin can view schedule of bookings from the backend in a calendar view
- Admin can add up bookings from the back end
- Booking system allows dates to be block booked and marked as unavailable
- Various reports and dashboards are available on the backend
